Terms of Service

These terms apply to the $599 Starter Website tier from Newtons Tech LLC ("I," "me," "Newtons Tech"). By paying the deposit invoice, you ("you," "Client") agree to the terms below.

• A one-page website built to your specifications
• Mobile-responsive design
• Contact form
• Domain registration help, billed at cost (typically $12 to $20 per year), registered in your name and managed through your Care Lite Plan
• Care Lite Plan at $49 per month (required), which includes hosting, domain registration and DNS, weekly off-server backups, uptime monitoring, auto-renewing SSL, and 1 hour of content edits per month
• One round of revisions before launch
• Launch in 3 to 5 business days after I receive your deposit and content

If I don't receive your content within 30 days of your deposit, I may pause the project. If I don't receive your content within 60 days, I may close the project and refund your deposit minus a $100 administrative fee.

• Your business information, content, photos, and branding
• Timely responses to my questions and revision requests
• Payment per the terms below

The Starter Website build is invoiced through Mercury. Care Lite is billed through Stripe as a recurring subscription. Payment of the deposit invoice constitutes your acceptance of these terms.

• Deposit: $299.50 (50%) due before work begins
• Balance: $299.50 (50%) due before the site goes live
• Care Lite Plan: $49 per month, billed in advance, starts on launch day, required for the life of the site
• Domain registration: billed at cost annually through Care Lite

If you are not satisfied with the site at any point before it goes live, I will refund your deposit in full. No questions asked.

Once the site is live, the project is considered complete and refunds are no longer available.

You own the content, copy, photos, and branding you provide. You own the final website as a deliverable.

The site is hosted on Newtons Tech infrastructure through your Care Lite Plan. While your Care Lite Plan is current, the site stays live.

If you want to move the site elsewhere, I will provide you with the site files within 5 business days of a written request. You are responsible for setting up hosting on your end.

If your Care Lite Plan payment is more than 14 days past due, I may take the site offline until payment is current. If Care Lite is more than 60 days past due, I may terminate the plan and remove the site from my infrastructure. I will give you 14 days written notice and an opportunity to download your site files before any removal.

Any domain I register on your behalf is registered in your name with you as the owner. You can move it to a different registrar at any time. I do not hold your domain hostage.

The $599 build price includes one round of revisions before launch. Additional revisions before launch are billed at $125 per hour with a 1-hour minimum.

Your Care Lite Plan includes 1 hour of content edits per month after launch. Unused hours do not roll over. Work beyond your monthly hour is billed at $125 per hour, or you can step up to a higher Care Plan (Care at $129/mo includes 3 hours, Care Pro at $249/mo includes 8 hours).

For 30 days after launch, I will fix any bugs or technical issues at no charge. This covers things like broken links, form failures, mobile display issues, or errors on my end.

This does not cover new feature requests, content changes, design changes, or issues caused by third-party services outside my control.

This tier does not include:

• Logo design or branding work
• Copywriting
• SEO services beyond basic on-page setup
• Search and maps setup (available as a separate $295 service)
• Custom integrations beyond a contact form
• Multiple pages, blogs, or e-commerce
• Email hosting or email migration

If you need any of these, we can discuss them as a separate project or step up to the Standard Website tier ($1,900).

I respond to emails and messages within one business day during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern Time).

You can cancel at any time before launch and receive a full refund of your deposit, as described in Section 5.

You can cancel your Care Lite Plan at any time after launch with 30 days written notice. If you cancel, I will provide your site files for self-hosting, and the site will be removed from my infrastructure at the end of your final billing period.

I reserve the right to cancel the project if you are unresponsive, if the project scope expands significantly beyond what's described here, or if the working relationship breaks down. In that case I will refund any portion of your payment that exceeds work completed.

Newtons Tech LLC's total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you have paid for the Starter Website tier.

I do my best to deliver quality work and reliable hosting, but I make no guarantees about specific business outcomes, traffic, or revenue from the site.

I may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date you pay your deposit is the version that applies to your project.
