This Privacy Policy explains how Newtons Tech LLC ("Newtons Tech," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit newtonstech.com (the "Site").
Information We Collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Specifically:
Contact form submissions. If you fill out our contact form, we receive the information you provide (name, email address, and the contents of your message). This information is delivered to us via Resend, our transactional email provider, and stored in our email inbox.
Server logs. Our web server records standard access logs, including IP address, user agent, and timestamp for every request. These logs are used exclusively for security monitoring, diagnostics, and mitigating abuse. We do not attempt to link IP addresses to individual identities. Logs are automatically rotated and deleted on a rolling basis.
Billing information. When you subscribe to a Care Plan or other recurring service, Stripe processes your payment. Stripe collects and stores your card number directly. We receive only billing metadata: the last four digits of the card, the card brand, expiry month and year, billing name, billing address, and email. We never see or store your full card number, CVC, or PIN.
We use two third-party advertising measurement services on the Site: Google Ads conversion tracking and Meta's Pixel and Conversions API. Both are described below and both are gated behind the consent banner you see on your first visit: nothing loads or sends until you accept.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how visitors use newtonstech.com. Umami collects anonymous usage data such as page views, referrers, browser type, device type, and approximate country of origin. Umami does not use cookies, does not track individuals across websites, and does not collect personal information. The data is aggregated and used solely to improve the site.
Google Ads Measurement
When you accept the consent banner, we load Google's gtag.js on
the Site so that a conversion event can fire when a visitor submits
a lead form. The event tells Google Ads that a click on our ad
resulted in a lead, which lets Google's bidding optimize for real
conversions rather than raw clicks. The event itself includes no
personal information; Google receives only that a conversion
occurred. gtag.js sets standard Google cookies (such as
_gcl_au) on your browser. Google's own use of any
data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy
(policies.google.com/privacy).
If you reject the consent banner, gtag.js does not load and no
data is sent to Google.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API
When you accept the consent banner, we load the Meta Pixel
(Facebook tracking pixel, dataset ID 968141215993394). The Pixel
records page views in your browser and sets two first-party
cookies, _fbp (a browser identifier) and, if you
arrived via a Meta ad link, _fbc (the ad click
identifier). Both are sent to Meta with each page-view event.
Separately, when you submit our contact form (and only when you
submit it), our server sends a "Lead" event to Meta's Conversions
API including: a hashed (one-way SHA256) form of your email,
phone number, first and last name, city, state, and postal code
when those fields are present, plus the _fbp and
_fbc cookies in raw form, plus your IP address and
User-Agent header. We never send your raw email, phone number,
or message body to Meta. As your lead progresses through our
CRM (e.g., to "Qualified" or "Converted to Client"), additional
Lead-stage events with the same fields may be sent so Meta's
bidding can optimize for real downstream outcomes.
Meta's use of this data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). If you reject the consent banner, no Pixel loads, no cookies are set, and no Conversions API events are sent for your form submission.
